Public Health Nurse

This is a professional nursing position involving coordinating and executing Public Health programs designed to prevent disease and improve the health of individuals, families, specific populations, high risk groups, and/or communities. The work is performed under the general supervision of the Director of Preventive Services with wide leeway allowed for the use of independent judgment. The incumbent does related work as required.

Possess a Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited or New York State-registered college or university and licensure and current registration to practice as a registered professional nurse in New York State;
