Minimum qualifications
Possession of a license and current registration from the New York State Education Department as a Nurse Practitioner with a specialty in Psychiatry. In order to be permanently appointed for this position, you must be appointed from a civil service exam list. This exam is a Training and Experience Exam. You will not be required to sit for a written exam. You will be scored based on an evaluation of your education and experience as shown on your resume/application.
