Paramedic Supervisor

Under general supervision of the Police Chief or high-level Police Officer, an incumbent in this class assists in the coordination and implementation of procedures for the provision of emergency medical care in the Town of Greenburgh and its incorporated Villages. Responsibilities include supervising and participating in providing emergency medical care to individuals who are sick or injured and evaluating the quality and quantity of aid required. The incumbent will demonstrate expertise in the determination and administration of proper medical treatment for all medical conditions from basic to complex in a pre-hospital setting. Incumbent will also participate in recruitment and training of staff in accordance with established policies, procedures and standards, maintain records, and evaluate operations, procedures and services. Supervision is exercised over civilian Paramedics and Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs.) Does related duties as required.
