Current Orange County Help Employee QIE

This Qualified Incumbent Exam is being held for employees that have been hired under the HELPs program.
Your application must clearly indicate that you are:
Currently employed in an Orange County department under the HELP program and have continuously served in that HELP position for at least six (6) months. Qualified candidates will have their names inter-filed on a continuous recruitment eligible list based on department of the position and title. To participate in the QIE exam you must complete exam application and attach the QIE Employee Form. Seniority and Veterans credits are not permitted for Qualified Incumbent Examinations.

After you have submitted your examination, you will be informed of the test results. If you are found Qualified, you will receive a score of 70. The eligible list for this QIE will be established as a continuous recruitment eligible list and your score will be added to the list. You will be notified by mail of your final test results. The Orange County Department of Human Resources reserves the right to terminate the continuous recruitment program at any time. Penalty for Misrepresentation: Any intentional misrepresentation on the application or examination will result in disqualification. This examination is being held pursuant to Civil Service Law, sections 17.4 and 57 and the Orange County Civil Service Rules for Classified Service. Langdon C.
