Minimum qualifications
EXPERIENCE: One (1) year of experience in work involving the maintenance and repair of a variety of complex industrial mechanical equipment such as pumps, compressors, hydraulic or flow valves, instrument control panels, generators, electric motors and piping systems. LICENSE: Appointees may be required to possess a current and valid Public Wastewater Systems Operator License and/or a Public Water Treatment System Operator License of the appropriate class issued by the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection. Appointees will be required to possess a driver's license valid in New Jersey only if the operation of a vehicle, rather than employee mobility, is necessary to perform the essential duties of the position. The responsibility for ensuring that employees posses the required motor vehicle license, commensurate with the class and type of vehicle being operated, rests with the Appointing Authority.
