Minimum qualifications
EXPERIENCE: Two (2) years of experience in clerical work; one (1) year of which must have been performing duties at or equivalent to the Clerk 2 level. SPECIAL SKILL: Applicants must be able to read, write, speak, and understand in English and Spanish sufficiently to perform the duties of this position. Candidates will be tested at time of certification for the ability to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish. LICENSE: Appointees will be required to possess a driver's license valid in New Jersey only if the operation of a vehicle, rather than employee mobility, is necessary to perform the essential duties of the position. The responsibility for ensuring that employees posses the required motor vehicle license, commensurate with the class and type of vehicle being operated, rests with the Appointing Authority.
