Greens Superintendent

EXPERIENCE: Six (6) years of supervisory experience in planning and directing work programs, using agronomic methods, in order to improve and maintain the turf and playing condition of a regulation eighteen (18) hole or larger golf course. OR Possession of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a major course of study in turf management, agronomy or horticulture and two (2) years of supervisory experience in planning and directing work programs, using agronomic methods, in order to improve and maintain the turf and playing condition of a regulation eighteen (18) hole or larger golf course. LICENSE: Applicants must posses a current and valid certificate as a Commercial Pesticide Operator issued by the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection. You must provide a copy of a valid license upon appointment. Appointees will be required to possess a driver's license valid in New Jersey only if the operation of a vehicle rather than employee mobility, is necessary to perform the essential duties of the position. The responsibility for ensuring that employees possess the required motor vehicle license, commensurate with the class and type of vehicles they operate, rests with the Appointing Authority.
