Administrative Hearing Examiner (Per Diem)

An Administrative Hearing Examiner conducts administrative in-person hearings on parking and municipal code violation citations, administrative hearings on appeals, adjudicates written declaration requests, conducts vehicle impound hearings, and other related work. The Hearing Examiner, when conducting hearings, will make rulings based on fact and law and issue decisions on both parking and municipal cases. Moving violations (i.e. traffic violations) are not included. The Hearing Examiner will be prohibited from appearing in any court on parking and municipal code violation matters in any capacity other than as an administrative hearing examiner for the Parking & Municipal Code Violations Bureau.
