Director of Nursing Service (Examination Date 12/19/2026)

The work involves responsibility for planning, directing, and supervising skilled nursing services at the Livingston County Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation (LCCNR). As a member of the leadership team, the Director of Nursing Service will report to the LCCNR in the event of a facility-related emergency, disaster, etc. Supervision and direction is exercised over nursing services personnel. The work is performed under the administrative direction of the Director of Long Term Care with leeway allowed for the exercise of independent judgment. A Director of Nursing Service does related work as assigned. Typical Qualifications PROMOTION QUALIFICATIONS: Candidates must be permanently employed in the Livingston County Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation AND must be serving and have served in a permanent, competitive class position of Assistant Director of Nursing for two (2) years immediately preceding the date of the written examination.
